FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What is provided by MountNbarreL for use on the day of the tour?

MountNbarreL will provide a light breakfast during check-in, bike & helmet with back rack carrier/crate, water, catered lunch/food-pairings as well as exclusive winery experiences during our stops.

Is there a minimum required for bookings?

There is a 4 person minimum required for all tours.  Sunday tours are limited to group tours of 6 or more guests.  When applicable, groups and/or individual bookings will automatically be combined to fill tour demands unless private tours were pre-arranged. We typically require groups of 8 or more for private tours.

When making purchases along the ride how do I store my goods?

Crates and small baskets included on the bikes can easily hold most purses, jackets and a bottle or two of wine.  For larger purchases we will have our staff transport to the parking area and hand-delivered at the end of the tour.

Is there any paperwork to fill out prior?

Yes.  Please feel free to print the forms for sizing/fitting of bike and helmet as well as the waiver required from our website under ‘Resources’ on the menu to fill out prior or we will have them available upon arrival.  *Filling out prior will help to expedite the process.

Will we receive further instructions for parking and/or shuttle options?

Yes.  MountNbarreL will send out an email a week prior to your departure with instructions for parking, shuttle and staging procedures; however, please feel free to call 541.490.8687 or email contactus@mountnbarrel.com for questions.

 

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes – we offer a 10% discount for groups of 8 or more! This purchase must be under one transaction.

What if it rains?

Our bike tours run rain or shine.  Nobody can rain on the MNL parade! *On rainy days MNL will provide disposable ponchos for our guests.

Do you offer refunds?

If unable to make the tour booked, we are happy to reschedule you on a day with availability.  No refunds within 30 days of booked tour, transferable only within 30 days.

What is the level of difficulty on the tour?

We offer tours for bikers of all levels. Our most popular tour, the original “OG Tour” (Oak Grove) is easy and leisurely. It’s mostly flat with only only a few slight gradual downgrades/upgrades. With this tour we will keep the pace slow enough for guest to enjoy scenery along the way, and will never exceed 8 miles. If your looking for a longer or more difficult tour, see other tours and add-ons list on the booking site. If your group is looking for something beyond our listed set tours, custom and private tours are always an option. *Please note, for custom and private tours, we typically require groups of 8 or more.

What to wear?

This is a leisurely ride with only a couple of rolling hills, wear comfortable clothing appropriate for weather conditions on day of tour.   *Closed-toed shoes are required, no sandals or flip-flops please.

How many stops will be made on the tour?

It varies based on the tour; however, at least two wineries and one to two seasonal stops (i.e. U-pick fruit, flowers, glass-blowing shop, historical landmarks).
